Surgical nose reshaping to improve aesthetics, proportion, or breathing — performed by board-certified surgeons.
Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping surgery) addresses the size, shape, and proportions of the nose relative to the face. At Kaya, rhinoplasty is performed by board-certified plastic surgeons with subspecialty interest in facial procedures. Both open and closed techniques are used depending on the degree of change required. Structural rhinoplasty — which prioritises long-term form and function — is our standard approach.
Open rhinoplasty uses a small external incision across the columella (the strip of tissue between the nostrils), allowing full exposure of the cartilaginous and bony structures. The surgeon reshapes, reduces, or augments the nasal framework using the patient's own cartilage (often from the septum or ear). Closed rhinoplasty uses internal incisions only, suited to more limited changes.
